University of Saint Thomas Cheerleading

UST Cheerleading

About Us

The University of St. Thomas Cheer Team is a university-sponsored team housed within the Campus Life department and Spirit Program. The Cheer Team is open to all UST students female and male. The purpose of the team is to promote school spirit through its participation at athletic events, campus activities and off-campus promotions. The team performs stunts, dances, tumbling and sideline cheering at football games and men's and women's basketball games.

The Cheer Team is looking for energetic and spirit-filled UST students with a desire to cheer on their Tommies. The Cheer Team works hard to provide a spirited atmosphere for UST fans. There are three cheerleading teams, including:  fall sideline, winter sideline and competition.

Fall Sideline Cheer Team:  Cheers for home football games, performances, appearances and fundraisers.

Winter Sideline Cheer Team: Cheers for home men's and women's basketball games, performances, appearances and fundraisers.

Competition Cheer Team:  Competes and performs at local and national competitions.
